Firing pad for porcelain.
A proven and simple method for placing porcelain restorations in a furnace without having to use complicated firing trays.
The porcelain surface of the restoration can also be placed on the pad without sticking. Ceramic stains and original glaze-fired restorations should be predried before placing them directly on the firing pad.
On large bridges, the entire length touches the suface, not just isolated spots as with a normal firing tray.
No more tray-related cooling problems thanks to the firing pad’s low heat absorption capacity.
This refractory material has no effect whatsoever on the firing cycle, shade or physical properties of the framework or porcelain and can be used repeatedly.
